Looks like some of you are realizing that, in some cases, you can achieve brighter and more saturated colors with pigmented discharge.
Its about time! :)
Yes the pcs are expensive but they go a very very long way. And the base is around $22 at least for me so the actual ink is cheaper than plastisol providing you minimize the activated color

finished printing today and must say, they came out good.  ended up mixing 1 part neo green and 2 parts neo yellow.  the result was an eye popping bright ass green.  BAM!!  customer was ecstatic and so were we.

On to the next...  :)
Have a great day! :)

Is this possible to accomplish with discharge?  if so, where would i find the pigments or the stuff I need?  thoughts?

We were able to accomplish this print with Matsui's NEO pigments.

I know this is an old thread, but I need a working Neon Green discharge asap for an upcoming job.  I am going to buy the sericol RFUs and mix based on what Skyline posted, but I was wondering if anyone had a formula using Matsui pigments.  I have the Matsui Glow Green pigment and if you just put some of the pigment on a shirt and let it dry it is the perfect color, but adding it to base, even up to 30% pigment (lol) produces a comparatively dull lime green color that I can actually mix brighter using just the standard yellow and green pigments.  I have tried adding white as well based on a comment in another thread and it mutes it too. Anyone know why it dulls so much in the base and how sericol is getting that kind of vibrance with their RFU?

^^^What dirk said, the CCI rfu D-FLO inks are awesome straight out of the bucket.  I did some prints last fall that got taken to the FESPA show in london to show off how bright they were.  they are awesome for discharge flos ready to go! 8)

has any one tested the sericol and CCI RFUs side by side?  I am fine testing myself, but time is of the essence and benefiting from others testing would be awesome.

Not yet, still going through some Sericol.  The Sericol fluoro green is very nice, the yellow sucks it hard, I do know that.

CCI's fluoro blue I think tested out very nice for us.  I believe that's the only gallon currently in the shop of CCI's fluoros but we'll likely migrate to them.

Low activator on all the fluoros!  Super important.
