Gorilla Grip II
« on: January 27, 2012, 03:13:29 PM »
This is a material of which I have spoken ill in the past. It's backing is not sticky, so it makes re-positioning of any unwanted lifts very tricky (glue stick glue actually works quite well)
This, in my mind, makes it less than desirable for detailed jobs.
However, a recent request made me put on my thinking cap and re--consider since it possesses the characteristics of both stretch and nylon adhesion, making it ideal for some swim suits and these sport bras from Bella.
I don't screen these or swim suits because of the linings. I suppose that I could make a hold-down, but I see them pretty infrequently, and often do such small runs that heat seal is usually my method of choice.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?
