A new bakery opened in Morgantown, West Virginia recently and the opening made the local news on WBOY. Owner Eran Guse was interviewed wearing an apron with “Wild Mountain Bakery” decorated with Eco-Print, a digital cutting material offered by Imprintables Warehouse.
Eco-Print, which is designed to be used with a printer/cutter, can be used to create four-color process logos and designs. It is then contour cut right on the machine, weeded, and can be heat sealed to just about any type of fabric. It’s a fast and easy way to create four-color process transfers and decals for a wide range of applications.
The transfer design was created from the bakery’s logo and heat pressed to aprons. Eco-Print was chosen because it has a soft hand and good color reproduction and visibility. The bakery is planning on offering a line of decorated T-shirts and other apparel to sell in the shop at a later date as an additional money maker.
Heat-applied graphics are great for new businesses that need identification apparel for uniforms and to promote their products, but cannot afford high minimums. Many times just by stopping by with a sample showing what can be done can close a sale.
