Shaun I you screwd up...you should have had UPS do a pick up at the 2 box guy and redeliver to the correct address as the tag you printed indicated. UPS SCREWUP =UPS FIX. all 2 box guy would have to do is hand off a box to a UPS driver. i know hind site is better than 20/20 but why do you pay again and fix for a service you paid UPS to provide mooseman
Worst case, you can schedule a UPS pickup from your customers place.You need to setup an online UPS account. They send you labels for free. You can either schedule a pickup, or drop them off at teh UPS store. You don't even wait in line at the UPS store, just set it on the counter and go.You don't need a world ship account, just a basic one. It costs nothing....you do not need a daily pickup.Sorry this happened shawn, but it's your fault for relying on a counter rep from UPS....twice.Also, you should have scheduled the pickup at your customer so they wouldn't have to do your work.
something is screwy here. . .this doesn't add up. Did you make out 2 labels for 2 addresses and ups left both boxes at the same address? am I reading that right? we ship daily and this has never happened - ever. set up an account and make the labels at your shop, screw counting on other people to do their job. If this happened to you once before -I sure as hell would do everything in my power to make sure it never happened again.
