Making Screen's Question
« on: March 17, 2025, 02:02:37 PM »
Ok I ran across a post on instagram show a shop that re-mesh and makes screen's, as I watched the vid they had all the correct machine's but they glued and sprayed with insta spray.  Now my comment was I didn't think the glue and spray would last very long for new or re-meshed screen's even though I use it to fix edges coming up from my old screen's. Another comment was about the angle of the mesh to the frame's the OG said mesh is mesh and it didn't matter how you put it on, I'm thinking I would never buy new or re-meshed frames from them because if the mesh is not put on correct you would never print halftones through that mesh without moire, so what do you all think about this I'm I wrong in thinking mesh just can't be glued on in any kind of angle?

Link?

Angle certainly matters, that's a no-no.

The spray may be the cyanoacrylate (super glue) activator, basically makes it cure super quick.
