LED warehouse lighting

I've read through the previous posts. Most are a few years old. Curious if there is anything new on LED ceiling lighting?

16-20ft ceilings in with about 2400 sq ft of warehouse floor space. We are renovating an old warehouse and starting from scratch. We are not reusing any the old Fluorescent setup. It seems 5k lighting is Pantone approved however my electrician is recommending 3500k since he says 5k will be too blue.

you're electrician is wrong.

3500k is yellow.  5000k is natural or neutral.  6000k is blue.  go 5000k and get ones with a higher CRI

I am not sure what style of light is best, We just retrofitted our fluorescent fixtures back when it the bulbs were $80 each.

Our electric company did the changeover for us. They came to us. Went from fluorescent to LED. What a boat load of difference. Our ceilings are at least 16ft.

They did the change over and we paid a little something each month for a year, it was added to our bill. But the rest was covered by them. And they did all the work.

I am not sure about the k in lighting that they used though. We had it done prob 6 years ago. Knock on wood - have not had to replace a bulb yet and we can see. LOL

Id check with your power company and see if they have anything like that available.

High bay UFO style lights. I just tried to look at ours to check color and now I can't see.
They're starkly bright, like a laboratory, which seems appropriate.

Also, here's the info direct from Pantone:
Two ranges, many applications.
PANTONE LIGHTING INDICATOR Stickers are provided in two lighting ranges:
D50 (5000k) – the recommended illumination for graphic design
D65 (6500k) - the preferred lighting color temperature for many design and production applications

Daylight seems to be a bit above 5000K, perhaps 5100K, but anyway, I would go with 5000K high CRI!

On the very back tab of your pantone guide is something called Lighting indicator. Take this from your fluorescent office to a 5K LED room and see the difference.
