how many stitches from a bobbin

I also just started with embroidery and its about 40,000 stitches minimum, for me closer to 45k. I use magnetic bobbins and they run all the way out. 
I use Fil-Tec P/N 12434.  If you are in the Northeast, I recommend KYS in Mass.

order them direct from Fil-Tec at Hab & Dash.

Also, we started having problems with theirs I think because of the recycled core program.  We switched to the Gunold magnetic bobbins and have been very happy.

... son of a biscuit eating bulldog......I bet that's what giving me the business...designs start out fine, then towards the middle / end of the run tensions all go out the door. Middle of the bobbins usually.  I'm going to try that...
