Pressing Garments with Reflective Stripes?
« on: September 21, 2023, 03:34:34 PM »
Any extra precautions?
I am using a couple of thicknesses of cardboard over the stripes to eliminate the fabric pattern pressing into the stripe.
Seems pretty effective.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

There are drastic differences in heat tolerance between products.
Some will melt if you look at them wrong, others don't seem to have a care in the world.

The 3M brand reflective strip that we have heat pressed onto rain jackets (don't ask) was of the latter.
Some of the shirts we've printed that have the stripes had to have cardboard placed over it to survive a
quick trip through the dryer.
