Looks like some kind of cast material. It could be brazed but that is hit and miss even with someone experienced. I personally would bolt a bracket to whats left, drill some holes in it and hope it works.

If you have a friendly machine shop nearby, perhaps they could fashion something for you?

also- careful of that spring hanging on by a C H..... those suckers can take off like a rocket.. Knobs are cheap, you can always drill a new hole and bolt some angle on that head but it will break again.... Once one goes, the others usually follow..

JB Weld will work *but* I would drill mating holes into each surface and insert some stainless pins to reinforce the JB Weld repair. This will add shear strength.

You can build JB up past what needs to be patched and sand/file is down to make it look pretty.

Add some plastic net sleeves over those springs to keep them tamed when they snap.

OR:

Call Workhorse and fix it right?

Workhorse actually also added and sold sheet metal covers to add safety for spring snaps like 15 years ago
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

Looking at Workhorse's parts pics, seems like you can saw the spring anchoring arms off the print head, buy part 81006 and drill/tap a couple holes to mount it.

Knob 74011 is an easy fix.

Viola, as the kids say.

Pffft.

JB weld back together, collect beach sand and used motor oil, create split green sand form from broken casting.
Gather 232,521 aluminium cans (give or take) and silicon (for better castability) build waste oil forge using flower pots.
Master art of casting aluminium in split castings, recycle first 23 attempts. Machine 24th attempt rough casting into usable
head.

Voila.
