We are looking to rent a cable in the gatlinburg but have no idea about the area and our good rental location. Any help from my brothers would be great.

You will be fairly close to us.  We are about 75-85 miles from there.

If you are going to come up I-75, my shop is 3 miles off of it, at exit 62 in Tennessee.

You can find rentals online for just about anywhere in the Smokies. A word of advice, though. Don't go on major holidays to any of the resort areas. I took a motorcycle ride up 129 "Tail of the Dragon", over to Pigeon Forge (looks just like 192 in Kissimmee) and up through Gatlinburg on the 4th of July. A two-lane road choked with traffic. Gatlinburg isn't big and it took me an hour to get through it. Got over to 441 just north of Cherokee and it took me another hour to travel a mile where I could jump on the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Helen, GA is another place that plugs up bad during Octoberfest. Takes a good hour to travel 2 miles or so from outside the city limits. JMHO from my own experience.

Otherwise, as Scobey says, it IS beautiful anytime of year, and generally much more laid back than here in O-town.

My wife and I spent a week just down the street in Pigeon Forge and this place was great.

We are planning on going in early June with another couple and their two kids along with ours.
