M&R Sportsman problem
« on: October 20, 2022, 12:17:53 PM »
On our Sportsman E the print finish switch has stopped working randomly.  Sometimes when you push the switch down it stops when it's supposed to and other times it continues to print.  Anyone else ever had this problem and if so what did you discover that was causing it?

I've replaced the plc battery on schedule so I don't know if it's a sensor or what else it could be.

My guess would be the switch itself. Anything mechanical that has to interact with a human is always the first suspect.

I'll give that a good looking into.  There is nothing like printing a freshly glued table for fleece and having it pull the mesh out.  If that's not it, I'll have to give M&R a call.  Thanks.

ours had a loose screw on the print finish toggle switch. once i tightened the terminal screw, the problem went away.

You two hit the nail on the head.  I pulled the panel up this morning and there was a terminal loose.  2 new switches are on the way.  Thanks for the help.
