Caprock is a good supplier for bulbs. Used to use them all the time for our old Amergraph unit. When we got our olec a few years ago I shopped several suppliers for our until we finally settled with Douthitt. For whatever reason the OEM’s seem to last a little longer. For something so critical to production, I don’t mind spending the $$. We get about 4-6 months out of em

I'd call M&R since they made it. We bought many a bulb from Caprock over the years, until we went LED. It's a good company, and have been around forever. I used to buy halftone screens from them (how halftones were made pre-digital) back in the late '70's. The last time we had to get a new bulb for our Violux 5000s it was just under $200.00...

The whole reflector with lamp slides out.  There are 1 or 2 hidden screws to take out and then it will slide out.

Why the heck is there a fluorescent bulb in it? Does it light a panel or something?

Ah, I get it. I've always had a stand alone light source and stand alone vacuum frame...
