Printing on 50/50 Blends

I'm printing white on some American Apparel crop tees: http://store.americanapparel.net/rsabb380.html
Printing on the Blue and Fuscia.

They're kinda of heathered, not the saturated colors like a Gildan Navy or Red.

Should I still use Low Bleed white ink? I can certainly use the Low Bleed ink but the White I typically print with is just easier and smoother to work with.

I certainly would. I think that you would do well to find a low bleed white that you feel more comfortable with as well.
They, in general, have really improved in printability over the years.

I have been happy with International Coatings 774 low viscosity for a long time, and am about to try the newish white from Xenon which gets good reports.

Some people say it helps some say it does not.
Sometimes I run 50/50's though the dryer first, hot to gas them.
If yours are heathers maybe not.
But like Frog said I would use a 50/50 ink.

The Xenon white is the bomb.

As I run out of colors I'm changing to all Xenon ink.

Thanks Johnny.  The check is in the mail.    Just know that whichever low bleed ink you use works due to the fact that the cure temp is lower.  So if you do not adjust your dryer to compensate for this you are wasting your money and time.

Xenon white is the worst ink I have ever used. It prints like crap, I do not know where you get that it is good!!!!





Just kidding Sonny, I'm just waiting to get rid of the rest of them and I'm swithcing completely to Xenon white. I will check your color inks too. Shipping is what it would kill it but I will give it a shot.

I was worried about the cost of shipping as well. Thats all out the window now. The Xenon white is well worth the extra cost of shipping. I have already gone through a couple gallons and it prints awesome. I ran a small manual two color sweat job today and it prints great on a manual too.
