ROQ double sleeve pallets and issue with EVO flash probe

So today I ran into a problem trying to put a white ub - flash - white hilite - flash sleeve job into production (second flash is to dry the highlight white so sleeves can be "easily" taken off).  The probes on our ROQ EVO flashes were not reading properly - our underbase white typically cures at around 115*C for 3 seconds.  The probe was incorrectly reading the temp at around 125*C, and therefore not giving a full powered flash (probe told the flash it is already at temp, even though the pallet isn't).  This is probably due to the green sock you put over the press arm.  The probe is centered over the green sock, however there isn't a ton of wiggle room...  To cure the entirety of the print, the probe can only really be in the spot I highlighted in my picture.

Anyways, I increased the temp of the flash to 126*C (over ten degrees C what we normally flash cure at), and the probe was doing the same thing.  Wouldn't cure the hilite white, seemed like the flash wasn't even turning on.  Probably not doing much to cure the underbase either.

Anyone out there have any experience using the probe flash on these pallets?  I tried turning the probe off, burned some shirts and called it a day.  Would love to feel more confident in printing sleeves on the ROQ, from what I understand these pallets are the best option out there for long sleeve printing

This is why we still have a separate machine for sleeves. I did some measurements and
figured this would be an issue, and ROQ was vague.

Try putting a piece of fabric over the area the sensor is reading. Bare metal is waaayyyy too reflective
and will give the false readings you are seeing. And thanks for testing this for us!
