I find the ultra wides to be kind of useless for our work.

Now when using it for mixing audio that can be a different story.

Not my setup, I don't use Logic or Cubase or whatever that is... I use Studio One (local boys!)

I often have email/art on same screen next to each other, opposite screen with supplier open since its like hunting for Easter eggs now for stock and fast manager next to each other. No moving around windows to see something. Then ill have my 50 inch either on cameras or watching a movie/podcast/etc.

Our artists we did not do ultrawide though. But each have 2 - 27 inch wide screens and Wacom screen to draw on (Eriks is 32 and Kellis is a 24). Andrew does not have a wacom yet, hes been resisting it. Erik also has a 50 inch TV so hes effectively running 4 screens.

I have my Ultra wide on my DTG... makes sense vs having two monitors and allows me to keep the RIP and Queue software up at the same time without fighting for space.  But it's a single-purpose computer.

Cool... I just prefer to maximize my windows.  So more monitors makes more sense than more screen size for that purpose.

Only windows I don't have maximized are basically my file manager windows (explorer)... basically very temporary windows.

I dont generally maximize windows, as what I am doing changes often. If I do any design work I do maximize it though. Otherwise everything is just sorta moving around based on what I am doing.

Now if you really want a wide screen, I have the Samsung G9 at home is a single monitor. its 49 inches wide. That monitor is so awesome. Curved, 5120x1440. I think if I do new screens any time soon id do 2 of them stacked and move my TV to the other wall.
