ISS/Impressions Long Beach 2022
balloonguy:
ASI is in Orlando now. I decided not to go... I am curious if anyone on here went? How is/was it? I wonder if that can be an indicator for the rest of the year...

I backed out a couple of days ago. Main thing I wanted to see was DTF printers. Too many back outs / questionable what will happen in the 2 weeks leading up to it to make it worthwhile enough. May try ISS Atlantic City if all the exhibitors are attending that.
Maxie:
Over the years I have enjoyed the shows. Mainly Long Beach. I’ve learned a lot at the seminars and kept up to date with equipment and everything else we use.
Met a lot of amazing people, enjoy the Smokehouse etc.
Won’t be coming this year but hopefully next year we’ll be getting back to normal and LB will be the great show it’s always been.

They got rid of direct flights from PDX to Long Beach, so more logistics, M&R pulling out, and we already have a Cobra on order.
I would love to have one of those automated ink mixers, but if the formulas to match a pantone don't work, what's the point really? Why can't they just make formulas that actually match the pantone, like pay a couple color specialist for a year to make the 1,867 solid coated pantone colors and to actually match the pantone. Maybe 3 formulas, on a base, no base, and discharge.

Are you referring to plastisol or waterbase or maybe both. We find it more and more difficult to get an accurate Pantone match using Avients mixing software. We never had issues until a year ago. Some of them are off by miles.

Did ANYBODY go? How was it?
