I have attached your pdf. I opened it up in CS2 (2005). Do not ask me why i have CS2 available. Let me know if it does not open.

That's it, thanks. It may well have been created with CS2. It even has the bumpy scan/trace issues, which will be easy to clean up now. I won't ask why you're running something that old, as a year ago I had a Mac clone running OS9 to drive a 25 year old Roland plotter.
