DTF Print
« on: March 10, 2021, 10:48:31 AM »
So I thought I would post a pic of a print we are doing now on our L1800 DTF, I went with the powder first that came with my DTF supplies but found out the powder grains where to big and did't hold the fine lines of the print, so I switched to a powder I use for our heat transfer stuff which is very fine grains, almost like baby powder and you can see it held all the small details, the design is 3 1/4 L x 2 H.  I don't think I could have screen printed the bags and held that small wording at the bottom or the wording in the circle for that matter. Have to thank Homer for hooking me up with the color settings.

Did you covert this yourself?

https://kingdomdtf.com is selling these pre-converted but in getting a sample from them they kinda failed so I wrote off their company, but it's the same process.

https://dtgpro.com/cicproduct/panthera-l1800-comp-dtf-mini.php is the same printer in a more "industrial" setup with the glue applicator and dryer and roll to roll feed.  Distributed by a company out of California.

However you can also get a similar setup https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Small-Roll-Dtf-Printer-Digital-Transfer_1600167034377.html?spm=a2700.galleryofferlist.normal_offer.d_title.53d1580bOxnD9W for ~$2000, but then where do you get parts / supplies / support is the question.

Or more industrial https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/DTF-white-ink-printer-heat-transfer_1600155743117.html?spm=a2700.galleryofferlist.normal_offer.d_title.2e6d3704vkw0zh&s=p

All cool stuff, good luck to the early adopters and people braver than me doing the R&D!
