Very short vid on Adobe Illustrator Overprint and Separation preview.

(1/1)

Dottonedan:
Adobe Illustrator, How to print a base white that does not knock out: This vid shows that Illy has a feature that enables you to stack colors that are white such as the base white for screen printing and put colors over top of it (that will not knock or delete the base). This vid also shows the wonderful use of the Separation preview that allows you to check your colors and confirm that it’s correct BEFORE printing to film or sending to a CTS machine.

Thanks for that, Dan. What .5 stroke would equal in pixels at 300 ppi. I choke at 2 px in PS and would like to get close to that in AI

Dottonedan:
.5 (from center) in vector is a bit fatter than a 2 pixel at 300.
