Understood. Quantity is trending down.  But remember,  it’s been trending down, since the economy downturn in 2009.  It’s been going this way, and I’ve not seen from my sep customers (a trend otherwise). Keep in mind, I still do some consulting for the I-Image and am often chatting about the business.

I would say there is an odd balance. A lot of designs that people are doing are not that complicated, (basics fonts, some graphics) at about 2-4 colors wanting 48-72 units.  On the other end, I am seeing a lot of customers (50%) that are wanting 48-72 of (multi colored, complex art....that should be done on a DTG. BUT we don’t have one running, so I am doing a lot of sim process for 50-72 shirts. (and they pay for it).

The drive since then has been faster turn time, lower quantity orders, increased color count, and increased frequency of re-orders.  They order about the same over time, but more often and (in general) speaking in terms of repeat retail customers. That makes multi color jobs less profitable and drives the push for the Digital world harder.
