What's a good mid-range Mac Notebook for us printers?

(1/1)

Fresh Baked Printing:
Will be ditching the PC in favor of a Mac in the next 30 days. Looking to use a Mac notebook. Any suggestions? Any problems using a 3000 with a Mac notebook?

If I were buying new, I'd probably get the 15" 2GHz one and increase the memory to 8GB.

As it is I've got a 3-1/2 year-old 13" Macbook 2.4GHz with 4GB of memory, and I'm using CS5 without any issues. Any of the cheaper new 13" Macbooks would outrun mine. I do have it paired with an older CinemaDisplay which is nice, and I bought a bluetooth keyboard and "magic mouse" to use when I'm at my desk.

This is where I buy my stuff typically:  http://www.macmall.com/p/Apple-MacBook-Pro/product~dpno~8300859~pdp.gdchhcc

I pretty much have the same setup. Just bought the VGA/DVI wire last week and hook up my macbook to a bigger display now. Just need a wireless keyboard and it's pretty much a desktop. I use CS3 and a 1400 printer with no problems. If I can ever afford it I'd like to get a Mac Pro tower with a big ass apple display.
