Where to buy bags
« on: November 10, 2020, 02:38:23 PM »
Where does everyone buy their bags? We have a retailer that has changed their bagging specs. We are currently ordering the bags on wickets from M and R.

I need a minimum 2 mill bag, 3 drilled holes, 3 language suffocation warning. Heat sealing, so no fold flaps or anything like that.

Anybody got a good source?

Uline has got to be the biggest waster of paper products on the planet. I could probably build
a cool fort out of all the catalogs they've sent us that go straight to the round file.

Bags are comparatively heavy, so you should either buy a million at once, or find a local
source.

We use Great Pacific Packaging in San Jose, CA. Suffocation warning is in 9 languages!
If you call and say wicket bags for shirts they'll know exactly what you need.
I get the feeling they're a part of a larger distribution chain sort of like with corrugated
products so you might look for something closer.

Totally. Uline and the Family that run them are terrible.

Hmmm, I've never heard this before about Uline, and I just got a small order, have used them for years for trash bags, packing tape etc. Usually too busy to check other sources. I'll check out other options for the east coast. Is it about pricing, policy issues, etc.?

Yes, I see; I don't need anyone telling me how to think, I'm all set there, thank you very much.
