Air chiller/dryer recommendation
« on: October 27, 2020, 02:33:20 AM »
Hi all, I am looking to get a air dryer/chiller for our Rapidtag printer but wanted to get some opinions of what unit would be best from fellow printers. We are looking to get a auto (possibly a Sportsman) next year so wanted the unit to be capable of running the shop so we dont have to upgrade when the auto arrives. Our budget for the dryer 2k. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

with chillers/compressors always go bigger than what you need.

We've really liked atlas copco equipment. been using them for around 6 years.

I've got one from KelTec Industries.  I like it a lot.  I've had it about 6 years with zero issues.

You can check with US Compressors.  Their prices are good and they can have it shipped to you.

Thank you all for your recommendations and input. I am going to look into the units mentioned. Until now the only one we looked at was the Ingersoll Rand but some of the reviews were discouraging. I really appreciate it since now we have some options to look into.

TOTALLY Agree here! Our old compressor we(them on the phone as well) *THOUGHT* the motor went out. They shipped us a new one in like 1-2 days LTL totally FREE no questions. Turned out it was a capacitor or something and not the motor, they said to keep it as a backup. Highly recommended!
