You might ask Tony Pep,  but I think ours was last set at 1:1 round edge fastest setting, but then on lower than 230 mesh, we were 2:1 with the sharp edge and the number 55 comes to mind if that is even a number on the dial. I forget, but I remember something about 55 speed for Lower mesh.

We are 1/0 on our Saati unit. But we are running S mesh 1/1 was way too high for us.

We are doing 2/1, round fast as it will go. I was most curious about the delays, ive been dorking around with it but curious where you all are.

As eluded to, this will depend on your emulsion (solids content and surfactants, etc) and mesh count/thread diameter. At JNJ it was 2 over 2 across all mesh counts. You're results may very but test and measure should get you there soon. I would not recommend coating too many screens before dialing it in (obvious to some but not others). And of course tight screens play an essential role in uniform stencil thickness. Either way it is an awesome addition to the screen room congratulations.

We are getting a hard line at the top where the scoop rotates and finishes its stroke, its not in the image area or anything...but is there any thing you guys have done to reduce or eliminate it?

Some use a cut down disposable scraper card and get rid of it that way. A nice feature would be a slight lateral shift (right to left) before the troughs release but I do not think that is an option. It is usually a bit less noticeable with the hard edge but most prefer the round side. Never bothered me much though.

Same here, it doesnt matter really, we also get little puddles at top on edges, just takes longer to dry.  I have had 4 or 5 techs look at it, none of them could fix it.

Our emulsion coats just fine with 2-squeegee side, 1-substrate side. We did do a little manual tweaking on the cylinders that push the inside coating trough to get more pressure on it. I wouldn't recommend that unless you see a need for it with your chemistry and screens.

The hard line at the top is just part of the machine's process. It doesn't coat like a human does. That 1" or so scrape line in the emulsion used to bother me a lot, but it just gets covered with tape anyway so it doesn't matter in the end.

There's not really any way to get around this with the unikote. You could take a scrape card after it coats and kind of scrape that part along with any build up on the sides to help with reclaim, but it isn't really necessary. If you need help dialing in EOM and recipes shoot me a DM.

We only change for the CCI HD Red, but not often...
