Acclaim Screen Printing & Embroidery has an immediate opening for an experienced apparel screen printer to run a 14-color M&R Gauntlet III. Acclaim is a high-volume contract shop which is known nationally for printing complex designs with both plastisol and water base inks. Applicant should have at least 5 years’ experience running an automatic press and knowledge of printing on a wide variety of substrates. If you take pride in your work and are a career printer, Acclaim is the place to be.
Income is $35,000 to $45,000 Annually based on experience.

Responsibilities
1. Obtain order (screens and garments) from staging area.
2. Line up screens in correct printing order on press.
3. Get inks needed as indicated on work order and place in appropriate screens.
4. Pick proper squeegee for ink color and garment and set up on press.
5. Test print design and get approved.
6. Once approved, print order continuing to monitor quality.
7. After order is complete, clean any leftover ink from the screen and place back in ink container.
8. Take squeegees and flood bars out and clean
9. Take screens off the press, remove tape and place in used screen area.
10. Be willing to help out in other areas as needed.
Requirements:
Must be able to load shirts onto the press quickly and straight
Self-starter
Strong communication skills
Detail Oriented
Task & Deadline oriented
Excellent vision with or without glasses
Maintain attendance
Ability to mix inks is a plus
Hours are normally 7am to 4 pm, Monday - Friday
*Sometimes we come in early or stay late to complete what we are working on and on rare occasions we will come in on the weekend if a deadline requires it.
Working Conditions
1. This position is based on the production floor and involves repetitive work.
2. The work involves standing for extended periods.
3. The production area is not climate controlled, so it’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter
4. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
5. Must be flexible in work hours.
