--- Quote from: KevinD on March 11, 2020, 01:59:16 PM ---I am a scheduled exhibitor for the show. I talked to ISS this morning and this was my response.
As of this minute, we are still moving forward with the event; however, monitoring the situation very closely as things are changing daily. Certainly nothing is out of the question at this point, and Senior Management is currently discussing all options. As I hear more information, or should things change, I will be in touch right away!
I am guessing if it is still going to happen attendance will be down about 40%

I think at best the attendance is going to be down TO 40%. Probably a ghost town with exhibitors and attendees missing. I don't know that it's fair to the attendees to come to a show with major exhibitors not being there.
The part that has me concerned is the fact that there are many international exhibitors and many are from Asia and central Europe (two hardest hit areas). I am not worried about getting sic, but rather transmitting it to somebody who might not survive.

My guess is by Friday we will know if it is canceled. a lot of people involved with this decision. The exhibitor supply vendors, along with ISS insurance claims for their loss. Not looking forward to chasing all the different investments i have made to be at the show. But i don't want to go to a show and hear crickets.....

Some of our customers are cancelling large events too. I am hoping this blows over fast for several reasons.
