COREL DRAW AND WINDOWS 10
« on: January 27, 2020, 05:49:53 PM »
Does anyone have a suggestion of how to get Corel Draw to work with windows 10 ?
I have Corel 12 & 14 and a new lap top with windows 10....I can open the Corel program in windows 10 but each and every time the program simply closes down instantly upon any file open or import command.
Any suggestions out there other than getting Corel 2020 ??????????
thanks

According to Corel 12 and 14 will not run on Windows 10....You need Version 17 or better...

 royster13 & Ron Pierson
Thanks guys for the info. I have further discovered that windows 10 is  built from the all popular Vista program characteristics which will allow Corel 12 but not 14 to work correctly. It just gets better all the time.
We are in the winter of our screen printing journey and thinking about moving on to other endeavors so an update to 17 most likely not in the cards.
Thanks again for the quick response and direction

My X6 works, and perhaps is available on the secondary market. Lotta folks claim that it was the last of the best.
