Blackstone - Perpetua Titling MT (Bold)

Development Inc. - Bank Gothic Lt BT (Light)

For development inc - The C is slightly different, but you should be able to tweak it.

a nice looking logo like that, and they can't provide a good file? Did you give them the 3rd degree about it?

They just couldn't provide me a file that was easily changed.
Turns out that they aren't even using that layout, just it's elements in a different arrangement And adding phone and website and stuff, and changing to single color, and so it goes...
They sent pictures of poast shirts with a completely different layout.
Some single colors, some three colors.
Sent me the file you see. Total of 36 shirts!
What blew my mind was when the lady said, "wow, the other folks I asked for quotes didn't ask all of these questions!

Ignition Drawing would be $15 for that I'll bet.

I use Ignition for re-draws of things I can't trace or simply redraw. (if I needed it, the straight line geometric shapes of this logo are an easy reconstruction for me) However, in this instance, I usually find it easier to simply re-set the existing type rather than cropping the elements from the raster image they sent.
If this was a simple task of merely printing what they sent (even if changing to one color), this wouldn't be as big a deal.
That said, I'm not holding my breath on this job coming my way, as I am not nearly as hungry as I once was, and any but the most straight-forward jobs are quoted accodingly.

I tend to look at it as a time thing more of late. It's done quick and fast, and pretty damned inexpensive. Though, I still bog myself down here and there instead of sending them out. Our art charges are pretty high, and we just can't get what we want when it comes to the knowledgable tire kickers. It's OK on the higher end, or something needing constant changes and updated mockups, but on the low end, ID just makes sense. I'm even thinking of adding their Shirt Lab, just to help reel customers in.
