Screenprinting shop in Poughkeepsie, NY is seeking an experienced automatic press operator.
Ability to PROPERLY set up and run print jobs on automatic screen printing press (if you have experience specific to MHM please let us know!)
Ability to determine when to use particular mesh count, squeegee pressure & angle, and how to properly address ink viscosity, to produce optimal opacity and print quality. A knowledgeable handle on all of the variables and ability to apply said knowledge is required.
We adhere to a high standard of quality while still requiring that our print room meet deadlines. Sub par printing and late orders are NOT permissible, and reliability is key. Our press operator simply has to run the press to the best of his/her ability - we have other shop room help to burn screens, reclaim etc.
