I've had both, and currently run 2 Sprint 3000s right now. The 3000 has forced air underneath the shirts unlike the 2000, so you can cure faster and at lower temperatures, using less gas and keeping your shop cooler. If you print a lot of waterbased inks, then go straight for the 3000. It also has that fancy Patriot Belt or whatever that doesn't need to be tracked or managed over time as the dryer runs and ages. The 3000 is much easier to clean too when you have to do that annoying yearly cleanout. It also has recipes if you find yourself having to change them often for different substrates and fabric contents.
The only downside to the 3000 is the sometimes super annoying filter check system. It's on a timer as well as an airflow sensor so YOU WILL BE CLEANING THAT VENT WHENEVER IT TELLS YOU TO! Otherwise you'll go mad with the beeping. And 100% of the time the alarm will go off when you are shutting down for the day and about to walk out the door. I swear they sense when I'm jingling my car keys like "haha, we're gonna get this nerd right when he's about to get in his car, lol" *BEEP, BEEP, BEEP*
