3 part PATHS tool training. Adobe Illustrator.
(1/1)
Dottonedan:
This tutorial is more of a (watch me as I build this) while I'm working on a job using the paths tool. It touches little on the "why" I do some things geared for screen printing in mind as I'm building. This is a three part tutorial to the finished art file.

If it's not available yet, give it about 10 more minutes.

Dan,
Thanks for posting. Look forward to watching with my artists. Since I have only skimmed the first few minutes so far, would you say this is geared toward just general Illustrator type work, or leans more toward more basic or advanced? Just want to know how to pitch it when I ask them to sit down and watch. Thanks again!
Dottonedan:
Part one does go over some of the very basic (of setting up screen print art). I'm rating this as if someone is just using Illustrator paths for the first time. Using paths is more about using Illustrator" while there are a bunch of tid bits geared towards setting up a screen print art file more specifically.
For example, creating custom colors etc. Then it goes into using the paths tool. Starts very basic and covers some of the subtle nuances of the paths tool.

Got it. thanks a bunch
