Got my new IPAD did not work so waiting on a replacement.

Anyways does any users here no if there is any apps for excel documents? I will need to work with spreadsheets and send as PC compatible, is it possible open office works on the IPAD?

tpitman:
Apple's "Numbers" app opens and saves Excel files. $19.95 or so. Downloads immediately. Works very well. I've replaced all my current spreadsheets with it that I'd created in Excel. I bought it to replace an older Mac version of Excel that won't work if I upgrade to the Lion version of OSX, and I couldn't open the newer Excel files anyway. The only thing I don't like about it and haven't found the solution for is the window you edit a formula in is more like a small button. I did like the larger palette that Excel has.

Hmm sounds interesting, I will peruse that app. But like you I work with formulas a lot so if it is hard to work with I might not like it. Still curious (well I will answer my own question and check the site) if Open Office works.

Fresh Baked Printing:
Google Docs (their Office suite, I believe) may work. I have no idea if its available for Apple.

Here's a screenshot of the editing window. It's in the cell adjacent to the 4th "Changeable" title. It's about the size of a cell, and appears in the cell you're editing.
