Screen Rack for Shurloc EZ Frames
« on: October 16, 2019, 08:41:41 AM »
Does anyone have any tips or rack preferences for Shurloc EZ frames? I have a metal Nortech screen rack but the EZ frames don't slide in and out too well since it's metal sliding on metal. I guess I can try to get crafty and build a wooden rack to make it easier for the frames to slide but I was wondering if there was a trick to make the metal racks work a little better. My only workaround at the moment is to spray some WD-40 on the rack but I don't know how long that will last.

Thanks!

Try some UHMW Tape on the surface the frame contacts for each shelf

Good call I'll give it a try. Do you know how resistant to tearing it is?

EDIT: Just tried some regular rubber adhesive screen tape I use from Uline and it works like a charm. I'll see how it holds up.

Thanks!

That shouldn't tear, it's pretty tough stuff.
