Reflective Heat Seal vinyl
« on: October 09, 2019, 10:17:20 AM »
I have a potential order for 200 jackets with waterproofing, that need reflective vinyl on the left front, the right sleeve, and full back. I do not want to cut and weed that, and haven't had a lot of time to run a supplier down for that, TE doesn't offer it, nor does Howard. Any suggestions, and thanks in advance

stahls will CAD Cut from 3M material which pretty tough and very reflective (and ANSI compliant). Expensive though. . .

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

Just make sure the waterproofing does not "mess up" adhesion....And sometimes the problem will not arise until the 1st few trips through the washer and dryer....

Apex can screen them, they are sending me a sample to test on the jacket for adhesion, and to also see if the mesh lining leaves an impression. Thanks for the tip about Stahl's, Pierre, I looked at TE and didn't think to check the parent company.
