thats something they dont do often, there shipping rates are obscene I have cancelled orders because the shipping was too much and ended up ordering off Amazon,

I recently purchased an eye wash station it was $100 cheaper on Amazon free shipping , ULine wanted $140 to ship, I'm only 40 min from there warehouse in a major corridor. Also as a note they dont price match even on identical items.

Until this popped up I have only heard tale of free shipping though Uline. I took advantage, saved roughly a million in freight costs.

We get free shipping and end column pricing all the time.
Set it up with my outside sales rep years ago and they haven't changed it.
It was $300 until just recently.

there brutal in our area , if your orders under $350 they charge you $35 to pick it up. I go out of my way to use smaller locals that when you compare prices are usually the same or better.

I always feel abused (price wise) when ordering from Uline they seem to have the low volume market pretty wrapped up.

i would love to do this, especially since some of the business practices for uline, are not aligned with our business.

They are convenient to order from, that's for sure, but not the cheapest with almost anything when including shipping (regularly). 

Local box supplier should be less expensive, tapes you can get less expensive elsewhere, etc.

That said we do use them though.  We need to move fast and they definitely do that.

I wait for the specials (no shipping or discount on tape) and load up. It seems to work for the most part. . .
