We have a 8 color automatic.
The client goes on about this printing in 9 colors. I would think we can get away with 8 but would need to compromise on the yellow in the art. Would rather use a brown to get the color of the creatures right and rather not have the yellow tint in the clouds.Unless of course there is a way around it and some option I have not considered yet. We generally print a discharge underbase and then all top colors with plastisol. Would it be possible to do the underbase with a bit of yellow added to it, hopefully that would be enough to create the yellow color in the cloud area? According to my separated channels it should do the trick. Question is just will the plastisol still cure proper with yellow added to the discharge base? Am i totally of track here with my line of thought? Advise please, and thanks in advance.
