« on: June 05, 2019, 05:00:58 PM »
One of our presses here is a 20 color M/R stryker. We are considering the upgrade. Who else is running a Stryker and done the upgrade and willing to the advantages to doing it. Also did you upgrade the software? Thanks

Rick what is the upgrade? curious to know.

its the whole drive set-up . eliminates the aluminum casings and the current bearing set-up all the way around. allows for much smoother indexing, super easy cleaning, better registration. They say it makes a big big difference. We are running press #3.

Sounds like a major onsite refit guessing $30k+ and a tech for a week?

Thats right on the money..2 techs for a week though. We are buying 2 split belts so coordinating with the install of those will off set the cost some.

I have my 18/22 Stryker shipping next week. So excited about it but glad to know I’ll be getting the updated version. Is it weird that I’m also super excited about the led lights in the heads? Ha!
