Opinions on these taggers

I ran a shop a few years back and we had 6 of these. Is anyone else using these? thoughts?  we are considering purchasing a couple of the 2 tag versions. Thanks in advance

We used to have one and actually sold it to Tony when he was at that shop you were at........... We are actually going to get another one here as yes it does help a ton..... If you have to tag through odd areas or a specific thread then its not as fast but overall its really nice to have if your doing a ton of barbing......... We used to do an order of 3k pcs and our one gal could upc ticket all 3k pcs in a little over a half day.

Hey Rick - we do a ton of labeling here and had/have  the M&R one - still do - collecting dust somewhere here. It is kind of a pain because of the "gun" part. the gun used is a standard trigger gun and I think using it in this way is not the way - constant breakdown. Timing can be an issue. We set it aside and haven't used it in years. It is air driven so it has to be stationary. I hear M&R has developed a 110 electrical unit but I haven't seen it. Call and ask for John (in sales) - He'll know - tell him I sent you.

At the moment, we are doing it all by hand - many gun breaks, bad needles, dropping and breaking guns......It's a pain but, at the moment, the only solution. I'll be checking out this company for sure!!
Looking at the Benson site, I'm rethinking this option. they seem to have their delivery system for the actual tag worked out. I'll bet they will be in the Pack Expo Show here in Vegas this fall. You might want to get registered for this one.......

Ive got two.

I think they speed the process considerably.

They need a bit of tinkering as with most machines...

I can get it dialled in in about 2-3 minutes. My staff struggles a bit with making sure the tags get picked up by the suction...

But once it is running smoothly it is faster than a hand gun for sure. On two tags it blows the manual speed out of the water...

Only problem I had is with the cost of these, they are ridiculous.

Thanks Ron. The one M/R offered years back was actually made by benson and re tagged  as a m/r unit. On the longer runs and thru the neck is always the best senario with these Taggers. I have done my research on these and have used these for years , I was just looking for additional opinions. Oh, and the old Brother models that were out there were also made by Benson for Brother so these guys are the only game in town. They make you purchase thru TEXPAC.

Danny, Please don't remind me about that one..lol That one was a lemon. Anyways yea when we were running big runs i had ladies doing 4500 units in a 8 hour shift .. simple 1 tag thru the neck

Right but set up in the right area and orders staged properly the ROI is well worth the super high price. They know they are the only guys out there so they are charging pharmacutical company prices

4695 for the single, 6695 for the 2 tag unit and 10k for the 3 tag.
