Quote from: RICK STEFANICK on April 30, 2019, 02:56:37 PM new Aquarious discharge white and colors.Keep us updated. A single pigment system for wb/discharge/hsa seems ideal. And at the very least, rumor has it that the Rutland pigs will be going away atsome point. For shame.
RT is working on a highly sophisticated wb/pc program that will work with all bases. That may phase out the current system which is actually quite good.
OP- for an HSA White? If so, we like Matsui Stretch White here. We use Rutland WB99 PCs to tint all wb/dc/hsa bases. There's nothing special about the PCs, they are simply available reliably, consistent enough to reproduce mixes and function acceptably overall. Years of our formulae are built with the system. Is Rutland really going to '86 them? I guess I don't see the point in "updating" pc systems unless I am ignorant to some technological advancements in aqueous, concentrated pigment systems or major shifts in global supply chains for the pigments or components.
Looking for a new HSA for everything that won't discharge. We've been printing a lot of canvas panels that get sewn into tote bags so we're running through our current white and want something...better. Thanks for the suggestions, looks like I'll end up with a Matsui.
