Pallet storage
« on: March 17, 2019, 06:40:51 PM »
Wondering if anyone stores their pallets on the wall. I have 3/4” plywood walls with studs 12” on center so they can hold some weight. I need to get my pallets on the wall and out of the corner they’re sitting in. Does anyone know of anything made for pallets similar to the racks made for manual squeegees? I don’t have room to build a shelf 8’ wide so I was trying to come up with a solution to stack them vertically and not have to move 8 to get to the 8 underneath or the 8 underneath those.

I came across a cart for them on eBay recently. Search speed loader for platens, looks like you could make something similar for cheap.

We use a 4x2 shelving thing from gladiator. Have shelves spaced every 3 inches. Fits crap tons of pallets.

Not a bad idea... would be right where we change pallets too.

There’s a laser cutting shop near me that I had make a sign before. Was thinking of designing something for the wall and having them cut it for me. I’ll keep you all posted on what I come up with if I put them in the wall.
