16 is great! None of our previous five made it past thirteen.

Mr Tees!!:
...here is Joonyer! I brought him to the shop for a few weeks post surgery to keep him separated from our four other dogs (all rescues). once he was all healed up, he still wouldnt let me leave him home....ready to go, at the door, before I am. hes a nine year-old basset/beagle mix, and has won "Employee of the Month" honors seventeen months and counting.

Clark:
Here's my dog Heisman.  He is a field trial/hunting labrador.  First pic is him at 11 months on a great hunt we had on an 11 degree morning.  He was in the water almost the entire morning breaking ice.  He wears a kevlar woven vest to protect his vitals from sharp ice and keep his core temp up.

Heisman will stop on a whistle blast hundreds of yards away and turn and face me..he then takes directional hand signals to recover downed birds.  Best dog I have ever owned.

Ha,  Thats the same look on that dog that my Shepherd gives me. How can you refuse?
