Consider expanding your services to the team market by offering custom braid and sewing services for baseball, softball, football, basketball and cheerleading uniforms. Braid comes in your choice of nylon or polyester and widths starting from 1/8th inch up to 6 inches.
The braid, which is composed of twisted cords of three or more strands, is available in a wide range of popular athletic colors and in combinations of up to six colors at a time. Metallic shades also are available and are especially popular with cheerleaders.
For activewear fabrics, there are Spandex versions that will stretch with the garment preventing the braid from ripping off during extreme movement. When stretch is not wanted, braid with fusing will keep it securely in place.
