Article describes what it was all about and there are plenty of pictures (Note Rick has a beer in every one of them!!!).
Please go check it out and potentially purchase a shirt. Money goes to a good cause. We at TSB offered to host the pix, assisted with drive and I volunteered at the event.
Your Three Stooges have been talking about supporting a cause and have decided to back this one for starters. While not sure yet what is going to happen in the future, right now thinking is that we will pick a cause or two a year and provide our support. It is true that most of us here are not members of SGIA, but it is our trade organization after all and ppl contributing to this particular event were from our industry. So we are going to throw a little bit of weight that we can muster and ask the members to check out the article, spread the word and if in the mood, donate $5-$10 or purchase a shirt.
And speaking of the shirts, since most of us really do not need another T-Shirt, we could organize something and have the shirts donated to another cause or even sent to New Orleans.
