Perhaps a bad subject topic but we all get these(WOW not wet on wet!) orders. I try to classify these high maintenance/small orders into two categories. Pre-Op vs. Post-OP. Pre-OP, ie Print my samples and we will get rich together. Obviously high risk whether or not you are contract or providing goods (higher risk of course). IMO all money upfront.
Post Op is a great way to maintain good relations with existing, repeating clients. So if the client's Wife works at the PTA its often a good idea to do a favor to keep the peace at possibly lower margin. It's all about big picture there
