Which white ink for tri blends?
« on: August 06, 2018, 09:38:10 AM »
Ok so I'm getting ready to print my first triblend order. ... bridal party stuff.

Bella canvas 8815's tri grey
White print.

Not sure which ink I should use?
I have waterbase (comet and  too score, quick white, snap white, D-white)
Also... what's the high temp I should avoid to not trash these!! Lol

My experience with triblend is that it's best to keep your peak temp below 340 to avoid problems.

Can't say about WB, but my plastisol of choice for triblend is One Stroke ELT-S white. Cures at 280, very stretchy, can produce nice, lightweight, opaque prints. If you're looking to use only what you have on hand, check specs for cure temps; I'd use one that cures at 300 or lower.
Nice guys laugh last.

We've used standard whites, thinned a tiny bit, or also a lot of customers have liked the sample prints we have of the One Stroke Watercolor White, with a one or two strokes, but no PFP...

Plain old quick white!  I do it everyday!  We use spray tak on triblends and turn the flashes way down.  Cure exactly like regular old plastisol with  no issues.
