We were attempting to press some trucker hats today and the hat press left hat press shaped indents in the foam. Are these going to fall out naturally? Or does anyone have tricks to get them out or prevent them?
Thanks in advance.
This was a similar topic a bit ago, may have some additional info for you.

thanks! we do have a neoprene build up but maybe it's not enough. i see frog has 2, we're using 1.
I needed more of a gradual step.
But just to demonstrate the craziness of this biz, I just ran 30 Otto flat brim foam truckers with nothing special, and had no marks.
I also was pressing vinyl.
That may allow less pressure than plastisol.
btw, more and more, I am using folded paper towel material for shims and auxiliary pads. Very easy to make custom shapes and thicknesses.
