Don't Send Don Fenno Any Funds He runs Scams
« on: December 11, 2017, 03:46:35 PM »
Don Fenno runs scams where he takes a deposit or upfront money then promises item has shipped.  Then never will send you your money back but will continue to communicate with you make you believe he is sending a refund, wire transfer etc.

Be careful don't deal with him not worth it

I agree  poster does not fill out profile nor is there any specifics of a deal.  just blank allegations.   They maybe true but they may be false.   just need more info to be fair and impartial

Never dealt with the guy personally, but I've probably read a dozen different stories about this dude scamming people over the last few years...

I realize people change( good and bad) I'm guilty of the latter myself. I have known Don for 30 years and have never once had a bad deal with him. He has always been there for me and always followed thru. To prevent any misunderstandings its always best to get a plane ticket or drive to view the equipment  and pay on the spot upon pick up. Even broker deals can work well that way. your there, pay the broker, he pays the source and away you go with your purchase. That's just smart business anyway.

Good advice on any deal like this.
The way that con artists as well as schmucks who just can't cover financial problems thrive for so long is that some of their dealings, if not most of their dealings are fine. They can even point to these as references. You, for instance, back in 2011 gave this dude a glowing recommendation, yet, if you read the industry forums, since then, he has screwed more than a few would-be equipment buyers. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, perhaps he doesn't enter into each deal with the intention of fraud, but just isn't together enough to cover the problems when they arise. With him, this is an ongoing issue.
Forewarned is forearmed.

I think largely brokers in this industry are a joke. They often do not see the equipment or know the first thing about it other than what the seller tells them. So all they are doing is marking it up to take a cut.... they take no responsibility 99% of the time either.

I am new to the forum.  Don Fenno owes me money similar to others in this forum.  I have taken this as far as I can go on my own without corroboration from others.  My attorney has informed me there are several judgments on the books against Don Fenno at the moment.  The largest is over $300k.  Legally, he has no assets and claims he has done very little business over the past few years.  Hence, no assets or cash to pay anyone.  He lives with a woman that houses and supports him.  They have no legal relationship so it is not possible to access her records unless there is evidence to support such an inquiry.

Unless Don has a gambling problem, it is hard for me to believe all this money has just evaporated.  It seems entirely possible he has crafted a scheme where he somehow hides funds thinking that no one will take the time to dig into what he is doing or has done with all this money.

If anyone has any information they would be willing to share on recent payments, amounts owed, please email to me.  If we can establish a trail of where this money has gone, we may have some options regarding payment or pursuing criminal proceedings.  Right now, even if you were to win a judgment against him, you would receive nothing because, on paper, he has nothing.
