Dye Sub Paper?
« on: February 07, 2018, 09:57:54 AM »
Our dye sub business has been picking up for whatever reason and I am needing a "better" dye sub paper option.  Our biggest issue is ghosting from the paper shifting on certain items, and I remember reading that someone was using a paper that effectively became sticky when pressed which would solve this issue.  Does anyone know of a brand that does this?  Otherwise we aren't having any issues, but the shifting paper thing is causing our error rate to skyrocket.  Thanks!

Have you cut this down and tried it through a SG800? Temped to try it as the price per roll versus sheets is pretty good.

Test if your SG800 prefers feeding long grain, and cut accordingly. I used to have problems with some CLC's jamming when fed with paper cut to feed short grain. My Epson does not seem to mind.

We use Epson DS Adhesive Textile on our F6200.  I believe it's Beaver's adhesive product rebranded.  We still buy it Epson branded since we need 17" rolls and the Beaver product isn't readily available in that width.
