Yeah I will be loading/unloading myself so I figure 250-300 an hour. I would like the dryer to be more than capable and be able to handle it when I do hire people and be able to double production with a loader and unloader. Thats what I like about the vastex is the add-on capability when I move from this shop in 2 years.

If I was to set up an auto shop with only 100A service, and no 3-phase, it would HAVE to have a gas line.

You are gonna sink so much $$ into your utility bills in 2 years that you could have bought a used gas dryer anyway.
There is scarcely anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse, and sell a little more cheaply. The person who buys on price alone is this man's lawful prey.

I could just drag along with 150 an hour for a couple years before I move but that would be frustrating in itself

I thought lack of gas service is why you're looking at electric, right?

Not much you can do if you don't have the line.

Thought I'd seen that.

On the 100 amps service.  I've only got what most would call 50 amp service - double 50A breaker providing 220 service.  On that feed, I have a Vastex 30A (220) Dryer, a 20A (110) Flash, 15A (110) A/C, 5 sets of double florescent tube lights and occasional use of the exposure unit.  I know it's a bit tight, but so far no problems.  So if you have a 100A (double breaker for 220 service), I doubt you have a lot to worry about.  Talk to an electrician and discuss things.  You might be surprised.

I'll have a Lawson dryer on a truck heading up I5 late this week. Part of a deal, and I don't need the dryer. Hit me up if you're interested. It's a 36" belt and 8 or 10 feet long, can't remember.

Get a gas dryer and run it on Liquid Propane. You just hook it up to a container no gas line needed. I was thinking about doing it here. Then I got a screaming deal on a Workhorse 52 inch belt dryer.

Like a bbq propane tank? Or something bigger? I would think the tank would have to be pretty substantial.

I really am not sure. I never looked into it. You can use any size tank. You just have to have it filled more. I know in my area you can have a service come fill your tanks. I am sure some one on here will break it down BTU/hour to gallon of gas.

You need one of those big tanks, the ones that are the size of a car.  I have no idea what one of those would run nor do I know if you can lease them from a gas company.  I think you have to buy them.  I would recommend it, it's cheaper in the long haul to go gas.
