Flo ink
« on: November 09, 2017, 02:24:21 PM »
our flo inks are OLD. wilflex genesis and the like. Running low and replacing them.

wilflex no longer makes the genesis line.
wilflex no longer makes the regular epic line flo colors.
wilflex ONLY makes super epic (high opacity) for flo colors.

We're used to NOT high opacity flo inks.
In this case the art was made with UB details and an almost solid top flo green - expecting the no UB flo green areas to almost completely die into the black shirt... this new epic super flo green is NOT translucent and just prints solid green.
who still makes translucent flo colors that print well???

I found a formula for a 90200 Epic Fluorescent Green in the wilflex software...  it only uses the 15000 mixing base and the Epic Fluorescent green PC

You could always just base down the opaque ink a bunch to make it more transparent.  I do that all the time...

We just take rio electric yellow and add a small amount of green pig to it..... That will give you a nice flo green with some translucent properties
